Can I work as a Transaction Broker?

Yes, you can work as a transaction broker here in New Jersey. Some states allow for a "transaction broker" role where the agent doesn't represent either party in a fiduciary capacity but instead facilitates the transaction by assisting with paperwork and procedures. Their primary duty is to see the transaction through to closing without providing advocacy for either side. Consumers are introduced to this option when reviewing the Consumer Information Statement and then can make the best decision when hiring a real estate professional.
