Yes, a single brokerage can represent both the buyer and the seller (or landlord & tenant) in the same transaction. This is what we call dual agency and it requires informed, written consent from both parties, as the agent's ability to provide undivided loyalty to either party is limited. They typically act more as a neutral facilitator. Dual agency is legal in when practiced correctly.
