Real property and personal property are both terms that are frequently discussed in Real Estate School.
Real Property can be defined as the land plus anything growing on it, attached to it or erected on it, including man-made objects. These objects which are called "improvements" include buildings, structures, roads, sewers, and fences, but exclude anything that may be removed from the land without injury to it.
Personal Property is property that is moveable and not permanently fixed to the real property. In real estate context it is referred to as furniture, fixtures and equipment.
